ℹ️ Overview:
The Restorative Leadership and School Culture micro-credential course will explore and develop restorative leadership practices designed to transform school culture and climate through positive relationships, empathy, and collaboration. Restorative leadership prioritizes building and maintaining positive relationships, fostering a sense of community, and addressing conflicts in ways that promote healing and growth.
🎯 Objectives:
At the end of this micro-credential, staff will be able to:
- Identify restorative practices
- Identify ways to positively influence school culture and climate via restorative practices
- Identify restorative leadership
- Introduce restorative circles in schools
- Identify social and emotional support in school leadership
- Identify strategies to build positive relationships with staff and students
📝 Content:
You will have the opportunity to explore both restorative leadership and practices through a mix of readings, videos, examples, and publications.
✅ Tasks:
As you work through this self-paced micro-credential, you will build knowledge and artifacts that will be leveraged when you apply to obtain a passing evaluation of the micro-credential. When you feel prepared to complete the application process, you will complete the required components which may consist of answering questions, adding links, or uploading attachments that showcase your proficiency for obtaining a passing evaluation.
